Coongan is a Traditional Owner Project Management Agency that provide a range of services for strengthening the caretaking of country and the environment.
Coongan is involved in cultural awareness training, cultural heritage services and environmental services.
SUMMARY
Coongan has appointed Dhamana to assist with mapping and geographical information systems management (GIS).
For this role Dhamana is engaged in establishing and undertaking a detailed needs analysis, developing a GIS directory structure on SharePoint to centralise data and streamline the GIS workflow, developing map templates to be used for the various products developed and to provide training to Coongan staff on the structure, composition and workflow of the GIS system.
Once this has finished Dhamana will be involved in the development of workflow materials that can be utilised by internal staff for the development of GIS products and the training of sub-contractors on the GIS standards used by Coongan.
