The Chilalo Graphite Project is high-grade and situated in the southeast corner of the Tanzanian border, approximately 240 km northwest of the coastal port city of Mtwara.

Over the current 19-year life of the mine, the Chilalo Project aims to produce 52,000 tpa of graphite concentrate. The Project is underpinned by a high-grade Ore Reserve of 8.0 Mt ore at 10.5% total graphitic carbon. Exploration has highlighted the potential for growth in the Ore Reserve, an extension of mine life, and an expansion of the processing plant.

SUMMARY
In 2024, Dhamana commenced providing Evolution with project management assistance. The initial aim was to work with the management team to develop the project's execution strategy and identify early works activities critical to meeting the desired project execution schedule. Following this, Dhamana, in close collaboration with Evolution, developed a detailed execution readiness plan and budget to take the project to the final investment decision.
Dhamana will continue to support Evolution with these execution readiness activities to provide a solid foundation for the delivery of the Project.

Dhamana also provides extensive support for the Chilalo project for the ESIA update to meet IFC performance standards, relocation planning and development of environmental and social management plans.
